William B. Carroll,77


William Berry Carroll,77,of Bailey Mill Rd.,
Barnesville,died Saturday Aug.9 in Upson County
Hospital.He was a retiree of Thomaston Mills as a
loom fixer.


Mr. Carroll is survived by his wife,Mrs. Aretta
Carroll of Barnesville; two daughters ,Mrs. Patricia
Abercrombie of Barnesville and Mrs. Mary Okke of
Grand Rapids,Mich;two sons,John Carroll of Thomaston
and James Carroll of Carrollton;and three sisters,
Mrs. Lizzy Goude and Mrs. Alice Harris , both of
Thomaston,and Mrs. Sara Young of Macon. Twelve
grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren also
survive.


Funeral services were held Monday, August 11,at 2:00
in the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.Rev. Bud Teal
officiated and burial was in Southview Cemetery.
