Funeral servicess will be held Wednesday, December 31, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Pasley- Fletcher Funeral Home with Elder Charlie D. McClendon officiating. Interment will be in South View Cemetery. Mr. Cato was a native of LaPine Alabama. He had been a resident of Upson County for many years. Mr. Cato was a painting contractor and a veteran of World War 1. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruby Dawkins Cato of Thomaston, one daughter, Mrs. Juanita Granger of Thomaston, one son, Richard Boswell of Memphis, Tennessee, three sisters: Mrs. Bernie Self and Mrs. Ruthie Mae Self, both of Thomaston, and Mrs. Vernice Downs of Grady, Alabama, and one brother, Henry Cato of LaPine , Alabama. Eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.
