Mrs. Lyndell Nelson Chadwick
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Lyndell Nelson
Chadwick, 87, of Milledgeville Saturday, December
6th 1986 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church of
Milledgeville.  Mrs. Chadwick died Wednesday night,
December 3 at the Upson County Hospital.

Burial was held in Memory Hill Cemetery of
Milledgeville.  Moore Funeral Home of Milledgeville
was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Chadwick was a
native of Milledgeville and she mnade her home in
Atlanta for many years.  She was a graduate of
Georgia College and she received her masters from
Oglethrope University.  She taught in Atlanta
schools for 42 years.  Mrs. Chadwick was a principal
of East Lake Elementary School for 19 years, former
president of the Atlanta Principal Association,
active in the Atlanta Civic theatre, a member of
Baldwin County Hospital Red Cross Association and
First Baptist Church of Milledgeville.

She is survived by Mrs. Barbara Hinton  of
Thomaston.  Three grand children and one great great
grandchild also survive.
