Mrs. Ava Virginia CHILDS, age 64, died suddenly
early Sunday morning, February 12 at her residence
on South Center St.  Funeral service was held Monday
morning at 11 o'clock from the residence, Rev. J. M.
Tumlin officating with Rev. T. R. Morehead
assisting.  Interment was made in Glenwood Cemetery.


She is survived by her husband, Mr. Walter CHILDS;
three daughters, Mrs. E. H. McDANIEL, Howard, Ga.,
Mrs. W. R. BROWN, Woodbury, Ga., and Mrs. Earnest
VAUGHN, Atlanta, Ga., one son, Mr. Thomas CHILDS,
Atlanta, Ga., one brother, Mr. Ed. NOEL, Thomaston,
Ga., fifteen grandchildren and one great grand-
child.
