Grady Cochran,65


Grady Lee Cochran,65,of 2141 Highway 19 South, died
Friday February 20 at the Upson County Hospital. He
was employed with the Weave Shop of the Thomaston
Mills, and had been a resident of Upson County for
28 years.


Mr. Cochran is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jessie Mae
Cochran; four daughters, Mrs. Mable Lane,and Mrs.
Doris Bryan,both of Buerna Vista,Mrs.Glenda
O'Hern,and Mrs. Alisha Steed, both of Thomaston;two
sons, Grady S.Cochran,of Lancaster,South Carolina,
and Thom* Cochran of Thomaston;two brothers, Isac
Cochran,of Thomaston,and Woodroe Cochran,of
Butler;and three sisters, Mrs. Lucille Hobbs,and
Mrs. Gracie Barrow, of Butler, and MRS. Lula Mae
McElhaney,of Centerville. Eighteen grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren also survive.


Funeral services were held Sunday,February 22 in the
Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.Rev.Doug Smith and
Rev. Bo Curlee officiated and interment was in
Southview Cemetery
