Royce E. Cochran

Griffin-Death claimed Royce D. Cochran, age 84, of
Griffin, on Friday at Clayton General Hospital at
Riverdale. Ga.  Graveside funeral services were held
at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive Church Cemetery at Molena
with the Rev. Bob Williams officiating.  Pasley-
Fletcher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Cochran was a native of Pike County but had
lived in Griffin for a number of years.  He operated
Tuckers Pool Room before retiring in 1969.  He was a
disabled veteran of World War 1, serving in the U.S.
Army.  He was wounded in the Battle of the Argonne
Forest.

He is survived by two brothers, J. A of Molena, and
T. J. of Thomaston, a brother-in-law, Sim G. Foster,
Tampa, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.
