Wednesday Rites for Mr. Coogler
Funeral services for J. C. Coogler,  65, were held
Wednesday, at 2 o'clock from Zion's Hope Baptist
Church with Rev. Foy Perkins officiating.  Burial
was in the church cemetery with Coggins Funeral Home
in charge of the arrangement. Mr. Coogler died
Tuesday at the Upson County Hospital.

He was a retired employee of B. F. Goodrich Textile
Products. Martha Mills and resided at 102 R. Street.
A native of  Dodge County, Mr. Coogler resided in
Thomaston for 22 years. Survivors include his wife,
Mrs. Myrtice Coogler, three sons, Wallace Coogler,
Thomaston; Jack Coogler, Macon; Gene Coogler,
Chauncey; one brother, Neal Coogler, Thomaston; two
sisters,, Mrs. Mabel Wilks, Chauncey; Mrs. Edna
Seiph, Warner Robins; nine grandchildren and four
great grandchildren also survive.
