Funeral services held Aug..23 for John Roger Cook,68


Funeral services for John Roger Cook,68,of Thomaston
Garden Apartments, were held Friday, August 23, at 3
p.m. in the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.
Rev.James Wright officiated and burial was in
Fincher Methodist Cemetery in Meansville.


  Mr. Cook died August 21 in the Veterans Hospital in Decatur. He had 
resided in Upson County seven years and was retired from Cook's Market 
as a meat cutter.


  Survivors include a brother,Milton Cook,of Griffin,and eight sisters,
Mrs. Helen Kitreel,Mrs Elmer Prater and Mrs. Hazel Cauther, all of 
Griffin,Mrs Marie Bolton of Thomaston, Mrs Lucille Cauthen of Milner,Mrs 
Virginia Anderson of Warner Robins,and Mrs Ruby Piper and Mrs Myrtle
Burnett, both of Barnesville.
