MR. JOHN ROGER COOK
Mr. John Roger Cook, 68, of Thomaston Garden
Apartments, died at the Veterans Hospital in Decatur
on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 1985.  Funeral services were
conducted at Coggins Chapel, Friday, Aug. 23, at 3
p.m. The Rev. James Wright officiated.  Interment
was held at Fincher Methodist Cemetery in
Meansville.  Coggins Funeral Home was in charge of
arrangements.

Mr. Cook was retired from Cooks Market as a meat
cutter.  He was a resident of Thomaston for seven
years. He is survived by one brother, Mr. Milton
Cook, of Griffin; eight sisters, Mrs. Helen Kitrell,
Mrs. Elmer Prater, Mrs. Hazel Cauther, all of
Griffin; Mrs. Marie Bolton of Thomaston, Mrs.
Lucille Cauthen of Milner, Mrs. Ruby Piper and Mrs.
Myrtle Burnette, both of Barnesville and Mrs.
Virginia Anderson of Warner Robins.
