KATHLEEN BAILEY CRAWFORD

Mrs. Kathleen Bailey Crawford, 77, of Lexington, GA died
Sunday, March 10, 1985, at Athens General Hospital after
a brief illness. Funeral services will be held Tuesday
afternoon March 12, at 2 p.m. in Lexington Baptist Church
with the Rev. George Hall officiating. Oglethorpe Chapel
Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements and
interment, which will follow in Clark's Cemetery in
Lexington.

A native of Maxey's, GA, Mrs. Crawford is the widow of
Charles R. Crawford.  She was a member of Lexington
Baptist Church, Woman's Missionary Union and Lexington
Womans' Club. She had lived in Lexington for the past 63
years and was an alumni of GNIC, now Georgia College at
Milledgeville. Survivors include one son, Charles R.
Crawford, Jr. of Lexington; two daughters, Mrs. Anne
Gower of Thomaston and Mrs. Kitty DuVernet of Albany; and
one brother, Mr. Thomas B. Bailey, Jr., of Palestine.
