Funeral services for Mrs Sallie K.Cross, 74,were
held Monday November 9 at 2 o'clock at the Chapel of
Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home with Rev. L.E.Smith
,Rev Bobby Tatum and Rev. Bobby Bargett
officiating.Burial was in South View Cemetery.


  Mrs. Cross died Sunday morning,November 8 at the Upson County Hospital.
She resided at 212 N Street and was a retired employee of BF Goodrich 
Textile Products,Martha Mills with 30 years service. Mrs Cross was a 
member of the Church of God and was a native of Pike County. She resided
in Thomaston since 1944.


  Survivors include four daughters,Mrs. Shelby Ellerbee,Thomaston;Mrs 
Raymond Hodges,Old Town,Florida;Mrs. H.D.McLendon,Macon;Mrs. Mobley 
Howell,Atlanta;two sons,Lamar Turner, Palatka,Florida;Lloyd Turner,
Myrtle Beach,S.C.;one step-son Ernest Cross,Thomaston;two brothers,
Robert Killingsworth,Griffin;Clarence Killingsworth,Smyrna;ten 
grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.
