IN Memory
On the night of March 1st, about 11 o'clock, God in his
infinite wisdom saw fit to call from our midst, our Dear
Father, Columbus W. Daniel, who was born Jan 18, 1851,
making his stay on earth 71 years, 1 month and 13 days.
He was married to Miss Mary Smith in 1872. She only lived
about a year. In Oct. 1875 he married Miss Lucy Ann
Brown. To this union ten children were born. His wife
proceeded him to the grave about 27 years ago.

He is survived by one brother, J. J.  Daniel of Sedalia,
Mo., and three sisters, Mrs. Mary McCullogh, Opelika AL.,
Mrs. Julia Fuller of  Phenix City, AL., and Mrs. George
Martin of Manchester Ga.

His children are: Messrs. L. E. , A. H., W.C., and E.R.
Daniel of Thomaston GA and Messrs B. W.  and G.B. Daniel
of Molena, Ga. and Mrs. J. J.  Buckholts, Mrs. Aubrey
Ferguson and Mrs. Lucy M. Wise, all of Thomaston, Ga. and
Mrs. J.C. Gill, Woodbury Ga. He was sick only a week but
bore suffering with patience, never at any time showing
fear of death.
