 MR JAMES FLOYD DAVIS    

Mr. James Floyd Davis, 76, of 309 East Gordon
Street, Apt.2 died Friday, Aug. 28 at the Macon
Medical Center.

Funeral services were held Sunday,Aug. 30 at the
chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home with the Rev.
James M. Windham officiating. Pasley-Fletcher
Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Internment was at Southview Cemetery.   Born in
South Carolina, Mr. Davis moved to Thomaston in
1972. He was a supervisor for DuPont Company in
Martinsburg,W. Va. ,with 39 years of service. He was
also a member of First Baptist Church.   Mr. Davis
is survived by his wife, Kate Mitchell Davis of
Thomaston, two daughters, Nancy Eisenbarth of
Washington,D.C., and Jane Elizabeth Lee of
Gibbstown,N.J.,one brother,Mac Davis of
Savannah,Ga., one sister Elizabeth Sharp of
Gibbstown,N.J.,5 grandsons and 2 great
grandchildren.
