Eva Mae Davison

Thomaston….Death claimed Mrs. Eva Mae Davison, age
84, of 607 Cherry St., at the Upson County Hospital
last Friday morning 1977. Funeral services were held
on Saturday at 3 o’clock from the Silvertown
Methodist Church with the Rev. Calvin Ward
officiating.    Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery with
Coggins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Davison was a native of Crawford County, but
had lived in Upson County for 83 years.  She was A
retired employee of the Thomaston Schools lunch room
and a member of the Silvertown Methodist Church.

She is survived by three daughters:  Mrs. Martha Lou
Martin, Americus, Miss Ruth Davison, and Mrs. Sara
Thompson, both of Thomaston, five sons:  William of
Tucson, Arizona, James, Milton and Milwood all of
Thomaston, and Harold of King’s Mt. N.C., a brother,
Jim W. Johnson, Thomaston, and a sister, Mrs. Mary
Lou Sandefur, Thomaston.   Twenty-one grandchildren,
twelve great grandchildren, and several nieces and
nephews also survive.
