FINAL RITES FOR ROBERT G. DAWSON,66


Funeral services for Robert G.Dawson, were held
Thursday afternoon, April 29 at 2 o'clock from the
Chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home with Dr.
Robert M.Hoffman and Rev.Jerry Cobb officiating.
Burial was in South View Cemetery.


Mr.Dawson was found dead at his residence on Tuesday
morning,April 27. He resided at 363 Old Talbotton
Road and was a native Upsonian. Mr.Dawson was a
retired owener of Safety Cab Company and was a
veteran of World War II having served in the
U.S.Army.


Survivors include three sisters,Mrs.Melvin H.Fallin
and Mrs. M.H. Holliman,both of Thomaston;Mrs. W.E.
Bunn,Columbus;two brothers,Norman Dawson,Forest
Park;Otis Dawson, Griffin;several nieces and nephews
also survive.
