RITES FOR MRS. DAY ,90 

Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Jackson Day,90 were
held Thursday,June 17 at 11 o'clock at the Chapel of
A.S.Turner Sons Funeral Home in Decatur with Dr.
Harold Zwald and Dr. Louie O.Newton
officiating.Burial was in the College Park Cemetery.


Mrs Day died Tuesday June 15 at Northside Hospital
in Atlanta. She resided in Atlanta and was a member
of the Druid Hills Baptist Church and was the widow
of Lemuel M.Day.


The native Upsonian is survived by one son H.Jack
Day,Atlanta; three sisters Miss Mossie Jackson, and
Mrs. Claude Morris,both of Thomaston; Mrs. Grace
Frazier, Altamonte Springs, Fla.
