Mr DeLoach was the first member of Clifford F.Dean Chapter of the D.A.V.to be taken by death. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Baptist Church,East Thomaston,with the Rev. C.O.English officiating. Pallbearers were Edward Watson,R.H.Pruitt,S.V.Tanton,J.H.Morris,Charlie Butts,Tom Cason,J.T.Slate and George Childs, all members of the D.A.V. The firing squad of the R.E.Lee R.O.T.C. conducted the commital service at grave at Glenwood Cemetery. Survivors are his mother,Mrs.K.S.DeLoach; sisters, Mrs.Charles Higgs, Thomaston,Mrs. Louis Elliott,Thomaston, and Mrs. J.H.Wright,Thomaston; brothers Sam and Theo DeLoach of Thomaston,Clarence DeLoach of Newnan and Roy DeLoach of Fort Benning ,Ga
