Funeral services for Mrs.Judy Stephens Denney of
Edmond,Okl.,formerly of Marieta,were held
Saturday,Aug.23,in Piedmont Baptist
Church,Marietta.Rev.Clifton C.Duvall and Rev, Lester
Sutton officiated and burial was in Cheatham Hills
Memorial Park in Young Harris, Ga.   Mrs. Denney was
one of 14 postal workers slain in
Edmond,Oklahoma,August 20 when a postal employee
facing dismissal opened fire on his co-workers then
killed himself.Mrs. Denney had worked at the post
office only four days prior to her death.

She is survived by her husband,Ron Denney;a
daughter, Mrs Stephanie Cause of Mableton;a son,
Christopher Denney of Edmond;her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Harry Stephens of Young Harris,Georgia;and a
sister,Mrs Carol Ash of Yatesville.
