Funeral services to be held Nov. 13 for Mrs. Della Mae Denton, 56

Funeral services for Mrs. Della Mae Chessor Denton,
56, of Putnam Street will be held Wednesday,
November 13, at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Crest Lawn
Funeral Home, Macon.  Elder Dennis Jones will
officiate and burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial
Gardens, Macon.  Pasley-Fletcher Home is in charge
of local arrangements.

Mrs. Denton had resided in Macon since 1956 and was
a member of Pilgrim’s Rest Primitive Baptist Church
near Macon.  Her husband, Elder Pat Denton, has
served as pastor of both Emmaus Primitive Church and
Friendship Baptist Church in Upson County.

Mrs. Denton is survived by her husband, her father,
Charlie Chesser of Hallwood, Va., a daughter Mrs.
Tricia Fennell of Macon, a son, Michael Denton of
Byron, a granddaughter, three sisters and three
brothers.
