Dumas have the sincere sympathy of their friends in Thomaston and vicinity in the death of Mr. Dumas which occurred Tuesday morning, May 12, 1925, from a Stroke apoplexy. Prior to this, Mr. Dumas had apparently been in the best of health and his sudden passing has been a great shock to his family. He was a consistent member of the Primitive Baptist Church, and the funeral service was held at the Trice Cemetery conducted by Revs. Heard and Woodard. Mr. Dumas was born August 24, 1856 and was 68 years old, and is survived by his widow, who was Miss Ella Holloway, and twelve Children.
