Mrs. Beulah R. Dumas

Smiths, Ala.   Death claimed Mrs. Beulah R. Dumas,
age 82, of Route 1, Box 592, Smiths, Ala., last
Friday at Cobt Hospital in Phenix City, Ala. 

Funeral services were held Saturday at 4 p. m. from
the Buice Funeral Home Chapel in Phenix City, Ala.,
with the Rev. Harry Stewart officiating.  Burial was
in Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City.

Mrs. Dumas was born in Pike County, Ala., and had
lived in Smiths, Ala. for 17 years. She is the
daughter of the late William David Rushing and the
late Saloni Phillips Rushing.  She was married to
the late Edmond Dumas.

She is survived by a step-daughter, Mrs. Georgia
Page, Henderson, N.C., two step-sons:  Harvey Dumas,
Thomaston and Homor Dumas , Honolula, Hawaii, and
three sisters:  Mrs. Eula Duncan, Mrs. Ruth Downs
and Mrs. Flora Poor, all of Smiths, Ala., and
several nieces and nephews.
