Duncan- Thomaston Times Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie M. Duncan, 95, of 115 Herbert Street were held Sunday, Sept. 11, 1994 in the Chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home. The Rev. Joe Allen and the Rev. Danny Smith officiated. Mrs. Duncan died Friday, Sept. 9, 1994 at Riverside Nursing Center. Pasley Fletcher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Duncan was a native of the Lifsey Springs community in Pike Co. She had made her home in Thomaston for a number of years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Silvertown Bapt. Church. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Rufus (Vera) Watts, Mrs. John (Evelyn) Barfield and Mrs. Al (Inez) Pitts, all of Thomston; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Minter, Mrs Nannie Bell Moore and Mrs. Ruby Moore, all of Thomaston; a brother, Mr. Harvey Mangham of Griffin; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild also survives.
