E. S. ELLINGTON DEAD. Mr. E. S. Ellington died Monday night in Atlanta at a hospital where he had been for treatment for the last month. His body was brought to Thomaston for burial Wednesday at noon and his remains were laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery. The funeral was held at The Methodist Church and was attended by one of the largest gatherings of sorrowing friends and relatives that has ever filled that building. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. H. Hardy and Rev. J. M. Tumlin. The body was escorted to the grave by the local lodge, Woodmen of the World. Mr. Elijah S. Ellington lived at Moore's Crossing about 3 miles north of Thomaston. He was one Upson County's most prosperous and highly respected citizens. He was looked upon as one of the community's most substantial farmers and businessmen. The deceased was a member of The Methodist Church and Woodmen of the World. Mr. Ellington was 45 years of age and has been married twice. He is survived by his second wife and three children by his first wife, Aubry, Joe and Ira Lou Ellington. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the people of the County in their loss of husband and father. Other- Glenwood Cemetery Elijah S.
