MAE PITTS FERGUSON THOMASTON—Mrs. Mae Pitts Ferguson, age 72, of Providence Nursing Home, died at the home on Saturday, October 18. Funeral services were held at the Pasley- Fletcher Chapel at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 20 with Rev. Don Howell officiating. Interment was in Glendwood (Glenwood) Cemetery. Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Ferguson was a native of Spalding County, Ga., but had lived in Upson County for the past 64 years. She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Blanche Kent of Thomaston; one brother, Cecil Pitts of Thomaston; three sisters, Mrs. Louise Shaw of Thomaston, Mrs. Celeste Butler, Miss Martha Pitts, both of Atlanta.
