Anthony J. Ferrell
Thomaston--Anthony J. Ferrell, age 61, of 119 Kennesaw Drive, Thomaston, died
at the Crawford W. Long Hospital in Atlanta, Ga., on Friday night, September
12. Funeral Services were held at the Chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home
at 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 14 with Dr. E. L. Cliburn officiating.
Interment was in Crystal Hill Cemetery. Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home was in
charge of arrangements.
Mr. Ferrell was a native of Grady County, Ga., but had lived in Thomaston since
1952. He was the Industrial Manager for Southern Protective Products, Co. He
was a member of the First Baptist Church and a veteran of World War 11 serving
in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Faye Bullock Ferrell of Thomaston, three
daughters; Mrs. C.E. Shirah of Hopeville, Ga., Mrs. Cary L. Flitter of
Atlanta, and Mrs. Craig Standard of Thomaston, one brother, Jackie C. Ferrell
of Thomaston, two sisters; Mrs. Bentley C. Adams, Jr. of Thomston, Mrs. C. L.
Straughn, Jr. of Atlanta, twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren
also survive.
