Floyd     

James Carlton Floyd, 19, passes away Saturday morning,
June 24 in one of the local hospitals at Griffin, Ga.,
following injuries received in an automobile accident
Friday night while enroute from Griffin to his home in
Thomaston; He was a loyal member of East Thomaston
Baptist Church.

The funeral was held at the East Thomaston Baptist Church
Monday afternoon with Rev. C.O. English officiating.
Interment was held in Glenwood Cemetery. He leaves his
mother, Mrs. Maggie Floyd; three sisters, Mrs. Robert J.
Adams, Mrs. Florrie Ridgeway all of Thomaston and Miss
Christine Floyd of Montgomery, Al., and his brother, Theo
C. Floyd of Lynchburg, Va.
