In Memoriam

In the death of Mrs. Willie Fowler, August 13, 1925 at
her home in Thomaston, we have all lost a true friend. A
beautiful life has ended. A happy home is dissolved. A
broken hearted husband weeps and motherless children
mourn. Mrs. Fowler was born November 16, 1874, reared in
Upson Co. near Sunnyside School, 5 miles southwest of
Thomaston. Left an Orphan when small and little Louranie
Woodson was reared by her Aunt Martha Smith, mother of
Mr. R.L. Smith, who she loved dearly. 

Married Mr. Willie
Fowler January 21 1903. To this Union were born two sons
and two daughters- Hubert, Marcus, Mattie Joe and Ruby,
which survived her. She leaves one sister Mrs. Allen
Fowler, one brother, Mr. Newt Woodson, both of Upson Co.

Her funeral was held at her home Aug. 14th, conducted by
Rev. Bullard.

The burial occured at the family Cemetery near Sunnyside
school.
