Mr. Otis A. Franklin Dies Here Wednesday
Mr. Otis A. Franklin, age 51, died at the residence
Wednesday morning. Mr. Franklin had been in ill health
for a number of years but was able to continue his duties
as R. F. D. Carrier until about a week ago. He had been
carrier for Route 1 for about 14 years continuously.

Funeral services were held at 11 o'clock at the Thomaston
Methodist Church of which he was a member, with rev. J.
M. Tumlin officiating, assisted by the Rev. John G. Logan
and the Rev. R. F. Elrod, and interment was made at
Glenwood Cemetery.

Mr. Franklin is survived by his widow; two daughters,
Dorothy and Martha; two sisters, Mrs. L. T. Woodall, Sr.,
and Mrs. Robert L. Mallory; two brothers, W.A. And T.A.
Franklin, and by his mother Mrs. W.C. Franklin
