L.E. FREEMAN Mrs. Lucinda Emeline Freeman was born may 29, 1829 and died at the home of her grandson, Mr. Robert Freeman, on Sept 5, 1912 having lived to the ripe old age of eighty three years, three months and seven days. She was the wife of Mrs. Henry Freeman who departed this life on the 12th of November 1878, leaving her a widow for 34 years. Mrs. Freeman was a noble and great woman, filling the sphere of womanhood with the graces of love, sympathy, patience, kindness and good will to whom she knew. As a mother she was kind and indulgent, but ever ready to advise and council her children for the best. As a neighbor she was faithful and true and loved by all who knew her. As a Christian, she was strong in her hope of Salvation by Grace and was devoted in her humble service to her Savior. Her interment was at the old homestead family burying ground in the presence of her many friends and loved ones where we laid her body down to wait the resurrection morning. Funeral services were conducted by the writer of this notice. W.W. Childs NOTE: W.W. Childs was pastor of Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church 1889-1924.
