Mrs. Mary Garrett
  Mrs. Mary Garrett died July 22 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. R.  Huckaby near Thunder after an illness lasting one year. Her funeral was held at Hendrix Church Rev. J. E. Barron conducting the funeral. The body was laid to rest in Hendrix Cemetery.  The deceased was 50 years old and was a member of Hendrix Church. She is survived by her daughter, one sister, Miss Minnie Riggins, Two brothers, Julian and Quillian Riggins and a number of grandchildren all over Upson Co.
