Death has again visited this community and claimed as its victim Mrs. Harriet 
Emma Sandwich Daniel, wife of T. H. Daniel and sister of judge M. H. Sandwich, 
of Thomaston and Mrs, J. C. McMichael of Barnsville. Mrs.Daniel died last 
Wednesday about twelve o'clock at the residence of her mother in this city, 
after a long and painful illness. She was forty years of age and became a 
member of the Baptist church in her childhood and died as she had lived a 
christain. She was married on the 26th. of November 1863and was the mother of 
six children one of whom has preceded her tothe other shore. She left a husband 
five children, two sons, and three daughters besides many friends and relatives 
to morn her loss. Her funeral was preached at the Baptist church 
Thursdaymorning by Rev.. Y. Allen. The relativesand friends of this good 
christain lady has the sympathy of the entire community i their sad affliction
