Departed this life on Wednesday evening at the 24th inst.at the Rock.
Capt. Henry Coats II in the 72 year of his age he had been a great suffer for 
the past several months which a complication which finally ended in dropsy.

He has been a citizen of this place for several years and lived a peaceful and 
quite life. Was an exceptable member of the Baptist Church and had many warm 
and good friends that mourn the loss of ..... one peace to him
