Middle Gergia Thomaston Times
On the 19th.December last on the plantation of Mr. W. J. Zorn in this County 
there was a difficulty  between two colored women named Mand Walkerand Mattie 
Bell, In which Fracas Mandy Walker received injuries from which she died. The 
coroner held an inquest and there was a post mortem examination by Dr. S. N. 
Dawood.The verdit of the jury was that she came to her death by injuries she 
recived at  the hands of Mattie Bel. Mattie Bell has fled from Justice.
