Mrs. Alton T. Jenkins, Sr.
Thomaston---Mrs. Alton T. Jenkins, Sr., of 325 South Green Street, Thomaston, 
died at the Bolingreen Nursing Home on Thursday, January 29.  Funeral services 
were held at the Pasley-Fletcher Chapel at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning, January 
31 with the Rev. W. C. Bowen officiating.  Interment was in Glenwood Cemetery.  
Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home was in charge fo arrangements.
Mrs. Jenkins was born in Talbolt County but had lived in Upson County for the 
past 70 years.  She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Don Johnson of Columbus, 
one niece, Miss Gladys Sue Johnson of Columbus, her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Alton 
T. Jenkins,Jr., of Thomaston.
