Final Rites Held for Mr. Ferguson
Funeral services for D. H. Ferguson, 76, were held Thursday, July 7 at 2:30 
p.m. at the Chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home with Rev. Don  Dowell 
officiating.  Burial was in South View Cemetery.
Mr. Ferguson died Tuesday, July 5 at his residence at ??????(too light to 
read).  He retired from Thomaston Mills with 45 years service and was a member 
of Fellowhiip Baptist Church.  A native of Spalding County he resided in Upson 
County for most of his life. 
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Violet Webb Ferguson, Thomaston, one ????? 
(too light to read) four sons;  Eugene Ferguson Tommy Ferguson, both of 
Americus, Bobby Ferguson, Forest Park, Bruce Ferguson, College Park, one 
brother, Carter Ferguson, Forest Park, eighteen grandchildren and four great 
grandchildren also survive.
