Violet Webb Ferguson, 75
Mrs. Violet Webb Ferguson, 75, of Sunnyside Road, died Friday morning, Aug. 22, 
in Providence Nursing Home.  She was a native of Mitcell County, but had been a 
resident of Upson County for 60 years.  She was a member of Followship Baptist 
Church.
Mrs. Ferguson is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Ferguson of Atlanta, four 
sons;  Bruce Ferguson of Thomaston, Eugene Ferguson and Tommy Ferguson, both of 
Americus, and Bobby Ferguson of Forest Park, three sisters;  Miss Iris Webb of 
Thomaston, Mrs. Louise Duncan of Fayetteville, and Mrs. Flaura Jolly of 
Doraville, and two brothers;  Euett Webb of Forest Park, and Matthew Webb of 
Poulan.  Eighteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Aug. 24 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of 
Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home.  Rev. John Jones officiated and burial was in 
South View Cemetery.
