Fallin, 73. of 824 Goodrich Avenue, on Monday, September 9, 1985, at Silvertown Bapitst Church at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Joe Allen officiating. Mr. Fallin died early Sunday morning, Sept, 8, at the Upson County Hospital. Entombment was held in Upson Memorial Gardens. Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Fallin was a native of Upson County. He was employed as a timekeeper at the Martha Mill Division of the BF Goodrich Co., retiring with 40 years of service. Mr. Falllin sold real estate for Day Realty Company for over 40 years. He was also a deacon and choir leader at the Silvertown Baptist Church and had also served as president of the Upson County Singer Convention for many years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Frankie Denham Fallin of Thomaston, four sons; Mr. Larry Fallin of Rome, Mr. Neal Fallin of Riverdale, Mr. Durwood Fallin of Akron, Ohio, and Mr. Sherwood Fallin of Atlanta, three sisters; Mrs. Grady Vining, and Mrs. Herman Gibson, both of Thomaston, and Mrs. Charles Hardage of Griffin, four brothers; Mr. Fred Fallin and Mr. Theo Fallin, both of Thomaston, Mr. Moses Fallin of Macon, and Mr. Wilson Fallin of Milledgeville. Eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. It is the request of the family that memorial contributions be made to Silvertown Baptist Church, Valley Grove Baptist Church or the Georgia Chapter of the American Leukemia Society.
