Rober Forbus, 59
Robert W. Forbus, 59, of Jacksonville, Fla, formerly of Thomaston, died April 
22.  A native of Thomaston, Mr. Forbus had resided in Jacksonville for the past 
30 years.
He was the director of Underwriting and Claims for 28 years at Prudential 
Insurance Company.  He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and a member of 
Jacksonville's Blood Bank Ten-Gallon Club.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Charlotte Forbus, his partents, Mr. and Mrs. 
William Bonner Forbus of Thomaston, a daughter, Charlotte F. Carlisle of 
Jacksonville, a son, Rob-Roy Forbus, also of Jacksonville,  three sisters;  
Helen F. Salter of Thomaston, Joyce Bailey of Winter Haven, Fla., and Anne 
Stowers of Martin, Tenn., two grandchildren also survive.
A memorial service was held at 11:00 Friday. April 25 in Arlington Presbyterian 
Church with Rev. William Love officiating. Memorial contributions may be made 
to the Methodist hospice.
