Death of excellent young man.

Mr. Thomas Walter Griggers died last Friday at the home
of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Griggers, near
Burketts schoolhouse after a brief illness of abscess of
the brain. He had been ill only a few days before the end
came and had been given every medical attention possible.

The funeral and Burial occurred at Antioch Saturday and
the services were conducted by Rev. J. E. Barron, being
attended by a number of sorrowing relatives and friends.

Mr. Griggers was just entering young manhood being only
20 years of age and was an exceptional fine character,
according to the testimony of those who knew him. 

He was a brother to Mr. Ben Griggers of the City. The
bereaved parents, sisters and brothers have the sympathy
of the people of the county in their great sorrow.
