The News-gazette, Jan 1944
The funeral of Lucius Fletcher House, 83 year old citizen who died at his home 
at 826 Greenwood St. Tuesday morning, was held yesterday at the Baptist Church 
at 4 P.M.,  Rev. Harvey Mitchell conducting the service.  Internment was in 
Greenwood Cemetery with Jordan in charge.  Surviving are:  Mrs. Minnie 
Woodard, Spartanburg S. C.; Mrs. S. M. Shockley Barnesville; Mrs. J. T. 
Burnette, Atlanta; Mrs. T. J. Sullivan, Thomaston; Miss Clyde House, 
Barnesville; Mrs. M. E. Shockley, Atlanta; and Mr. Dempsey House, Macon.
