Johnny W. Howard,94, of Thomaston, died February 12, 2014, at Roberta Health and 
Rehab.
 A native of Turner County, he was the son of the late Dossie Lee and Sara 
Ellerbee Howard. He was a retired teacher with the Clayton County School System, 
a retired Baptist minister, former pastor of Alapaha Baptist Church, and a 
member of First Baptist Church of Thomaston.
 He is survived by his wife, Martha F. Howard; two daughters and sons-in-law, 
Lou Anne and Reginald Hamm of Barnesville and Susan and Ricky Phillips of 
Thomastson; sister, Sara Ruben of North Augusta, SC, several grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held February 15 in the Chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral 
Home in Thomaston with Johnny Caldwell, Jr., officiating. of North Augusta, SC; 
several grandchildren.
 Interment was held at Crystal Hill Cemetery.
 Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
