S.B. Hancock
Lakeland, Fla.---Death claimed Mr. S. B. Hancock, age 76, of Lakeland, Fla., on 
Wednesday, September 12 in Lakeland.  Funeral services were held in Lakeland at 
2 p.m. on Friday and graveside services were held on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the 
Flint River Prinitive Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.  
The Rev. Don Howell officiated.  Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home was in charge of 
arrangements.
Mr. Hancock was a native of Upson County but had lived in Lakeland for the last 
39 years. He was a retired employee of Bordens Dairy and an Army veteran of 
World War 11.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beulah McMann Hancock of 
Lakeland, one son, Bennett Hancock of Conyers, one brother, Hubert Hancock of 
Thomaston, several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.
