Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Gertrude Hale,91,of
Centerville, formerly of Thomaston,were held
Sunday,Dec. 29 at 2:00 in Valley Grove Baptist Church .
Dr.Dale Roberson officiated and burial was in the
church cemetery.Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home was in
charge of arrangements.


Mrs. Hale died Dec 28 in Centerville.She was a native
of Harris County and was a resident of Upson County for
27 years before moving to Houston County in 1955.She
was a former employee of the Martha Mills Division of
B.F.Goodrich and Thomaston Mills.Mrs. Hale was a meber
of Valley Grove Baptist Church.


She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Florence Parker of
Thomaston;two sons,Forest Lee Hale of
Crawfordville,Fla,and William Milton Hale of
Centerville;and a sister,Mrs.Alma Odom of
Thomaston.Fourteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-
grandchildren also survive.
