Saturday Services
For Mrs. Hamlett
Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Birdsong Hamlett,
47, were held Saturday at two o'clock at the Mt.
Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Williams and Rev.
L.E. Smith officiating and interment in the Mount
Olive Church Cemetery.  Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home
was in charge of arrangements.

Cashier at American Finance System for 15 years,
Mrs. Hamlett died Friday after a lengthy illness.
She was a native Upsonian.

Survivors include her husband, Mack Hamlett,
Thomaston; her mother, Mrs. Sadie Birdsong,
Thomaston; a brother, Gene Birdsong, Thomaston; a
foster brother, James Streetman, Thomaston; two
nephews also survive.
