FINAL RITES FOR MRS. HAMMOCK


Funeral services for Mrs Jessie Clyde Vaughn
Hammock,69,were held Friday afternoon,December 19,at
2p.m. at the East Thomaston Baptist Church with
Rev.Jimmy McAdams officiating. Burial was in Shiloh
Baptist Church Cemetery with Pasley-Fletcher Funeral
Home in charge of the arrangements.


Mrs. Hammock died Wednesday at her residence at 104
Denham Street. She was a native Upsonian and a member
of East Thomaston Baptist Church. Mrs. Hammock was a
volunteer worker for the Upson County Chapter of the
American Cancer Society.


Survivors include her husband,George T,Hammock;one
daughter ,Mrs. Jane Cadenhead,Thomaston;one son ,Joe
Vaughn,Huachuca City,Arizona,one step-son,Talmadge
Hammock, Thomaston;one sister,Mrs. Annie Mae
Doke,Tampa,Flordia;four grandchildren and five step
grandchildren also survive.
