Please note that the notice heading was "Hammond" but the name 
of the deceased (according to the paper) was "Ormand".


Mr. G. E. Ormand, age 39, passed away at the home of
his brother, Mr. J. R. Hammond of Thomaston, late
Friday afternoon, Sept. 16.  He is survived by his
widow, who before marriage was Miss Minnie Bankston;
two sons, John Marvin and Jesse Hammond; one
daughter, Miss Mary Louise Hammond; father and
mother, Mr. nd Mrs. W. D. Hammond; five brothers, W.
T., J. R., D. J., H. D., and J. A. Hammond; and two
sisters, Mrs. W. E. Standard and Miss Ruby Hammond,
all of Thomaston.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2
o'clock from Atwater Church.  The Rev. Mr. Bailey
officiating, and interment was made in the
churchyard cemetery.
