Matthew Helms was born in Harris county on Nov. 8,
1855, and was married to Sallie Fallin Aug. 8, 1880,
died Aug. 9, 1923.  Should he lived until Nov. 8, he
would have been 73 years old.


Besides the above, there was an article combining
poetry and prose by "Essie" describing his last days
and how he will be missed.
