MR BERT HELMS
Funeral services will be conducted for Mr. Bert
Helms,70,of 214 North St. Thursday,Nov.20 at 2p.m.at
the chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.Mr.Helms died
Tuesday,Nov.18,1986 at the Upson County Hospital.


The Revs. Mark Fowler and Paul Bornhauser will
officiate. Interment will be held in Southview
Cemetery. Coggins Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements


Mr. Helms was a retired self-employed machine shop
metal worker.He was a life-long Upsonian.


He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Helms of
Thomaston;three daughters,Mrs. Maxine Harnage of
Orlando,Fla.,Mrs. Gloria Escoe of Austell and Mrs.
Dixie Smith of Marietta; one brother,Mr. Walter L.Helms
Jr. of Thomaston;four sisters,Mrs.Paulline
Bowlin,Mrs.Margie Bowles,Mrs.Nell Reynolds and Mrs.
Rose Parker,all of Thomaston. Eight grandchildren and
one great-grandchild also survive.
