DAVID HORTMAN


Thomaston--- David Hortman,age 68,of Route 2,Jackson
Drive,Thomaston,died at his residence on Friday
morning,December 26.Funeral services were held at the
Chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on
Sunday,December 28 with the Rev. Bill Oglesby
officiating.Interment was in the Salem Cemetery,Pasley-
Fletcher Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements


Mr. Hortman was born in Schley County,GA.,but had lived
in Upson County for 45 years. He was a retired employee
of Thomaston Mills retiring in 1969.He is survived by
his wife ,Mrs. Mary Eleanor Ivester Hortman of
Thomaston;one daughter,Mrs. Priscilla Ann Philmon of
Thomaston;two sons,Henry J.Hortman and James Edward
Hortman,both of Thomaston;one brother Leonard Hortman
of Columbus,S.C.;two sisters,Mrs. Elizabeth Winslett
and Mrs Pearl Hill,both of Thomaston;five grandchildren
and one great-granddaughter also survives
