Irvin

Mrs. Mary Holcomb Irvin, age 70, widow to the late James
Madison Irvin, both pioneer citizens of Upson, passed at
her residence near the Rock Friday Evening. Nov. 18th.
She leaves one step-daughter , Mrs. Jim Austin Of Atlanta
and one step son, M. H. Irvin of The Rock; two sisters,
Mrs. M.S. Pritchett of Griffin, Ga., and Mrs. Lucy Jones
of Brennan Ga., and four half brothers, Messers,
Washington L., John, Emery and William Holcomb of North
Ga. The funeral and Interment was held at Roland Saturday
afternoon with Rev. C. O. English officiating.
